Ladies' friendly at home to St Andrews, 11th Jun
On Tuesday, the ladies played a close run, friendly match against St Andrews ladies.
At the half way point it was all going swimmingly and we were up on 2 out of 3 rinks, and leading 30-20 overall. However, the St Andrews ladies gradually came back at us and after the 17th end we were 3 points down!
All the ladies put in a great effort and we won the last end on all rinks, finishing 4 points ahead.
Well done everyone - a great result!

The umbrella competition, 17th June
Three triples matches were played in warm sunshine on week 6 of the umbrella. it was good to see many of our newer members enjoying the game and honing their skills. See the latest results table here
And, in other news..
Disappointingly the friendly match away to Burnham on 12th June was cancelled as we had only 9 names for the 6 triples required in a mixed friendly. The corresponding home fixture was cancelled and as a consequence will result in a loss of revenue for the club.
