As you all know, Mike has been very ill in hospital for the last week or so. Sadly, Mike lost his fight and passed away peacefully last night at around 9.30. Angela was with him, holding his hand and telling him how much he was loved. She says that it all happened so quickly and it has been the worst week of her life; however, he was very poorly and he is now Resting in Peace
Mike was an active and popular member of our club. He was a key player in the umbrella competition, and played totally in the spirit of the game, encouraging the newer players whilst enjoying the challenge.
He was a thoroughly nice chap and a gentleman. We will miss him greatly.
