Over 55's League - Away to Portishead RBL. 6 Triples.
What a day!!! Having flogged up the M5 in torrential rain, with minimal visibility we arrived at the soggy Portishead green, only to to meet a crowd of disgruntled bowls players trudging their way towards us.
"It's no good going any further, the game is off" came the terse statement
"Oh I see" we said as we plodded our soggy way back to the car
And that was that...... Back to the wet M5 and home
