This week's Over 55's matches

I had no opportunity to give a victory speech this week, as we were narrowly beaten by Winscombe by 97 shots to 99.

Also Portishead RBL doing the double over us 90 shots to 108 winning on only two rinks, so well done to those players. The weather was very warm against Winscombe, but we did get wet against RBL, both games were played in a very good spirit ( I don't think I said 'Oh bugger' in either game).

And finally...

I won't be available for the remaining couple of fixtures as I am on holiday.

I would like to thank everyone who played, and to those who stepped in at the last minute. on the whole I have enjoyed my year as your over 55's Captain.
